|| Make Your Own Madhubani Bookmarks - Simple & Creative Idea Using Madhubani Art ||

Hey Friends!!!

It's a beautiful day and I woke up early morning to enjoy the rain😀😀😀.  Yes, it was raining💙💙💙.  My morning was beautiful and while having a cup of tea I got an idea to share something creative with you all.

So friends, if you also feel like making something creative and useful then try to make these Madhubani Bookmarks.

I am going to share all about "HOW TO MAKE BOOKMARKS" using Madhubani Designs and patterns.

ALL YOU NEED IS :
  • Handmade Sheet (off white)
  • Scissors
  • Acrylic Colors
  • Rotring Isograph Technical Pen
  • Zero Pointed Round Paintbrush
  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • Scale

HOW TO MAKE :
Let's start learning "HOW TO MAKE BOOKMARKS" step-by-step:

1.  Cut the sheet into a length of 19 cm and width of 5 cm.  The standard size of any bookmarker is 19 x 5 cm length and width.

2.  Always leave margin first.

3.  Using a pencil draw tree for reference lines.

4.  Now, use Rotring Isograph Technical Pen to highlight the tree design.

5.  After completing design remove pencil lines using an eraser, if visible.

6.  Fill the tree leaves with fine lines.  This is known as Kachni style of Madhubani Art.

7.  Now, it's time to color.  The main colors used in Madhubani paintings are natural colors : yellow, red, blue, and green.  Here I am using Acrylic Colors.

8.  Always fill background color in the last.
