|| HOW TO MAKE KACHNI STYLE MADHUBANI FISH DESIGN || STEP BY STEP KACHNI ART TUTORIAL (2020) ||

Hey Friends!!!

As all of you know that I created this blog to share new and creative ideas of Art & Craft, Paintings, and Home Decor related Art & Craft work.  So, today I am going to share "HOW TO MAKE KACHNI STYLE MADHUBANI FISH ART"🐬🐬🐬🐬.  

First of all, I want to introduce to you about Kachni Art. 

BRIEF OF KACHNI ART : 

Kachni means lines.  For Kachni work we use delicate fine lines to fill the Madhubani painting and not much color is used.  Kachni work is one of the styles of Madhubani Art.  Madhubani Art is an Indian Folk Art.  It is originated from Madhubani district of Mithila region of Bihar.  Traditionally, the painting was done on mud walls but nowadays it's done on cloth, handmade paper, and canvas.

So, friends, today my focus is on Kachni work only and I will share my Kachni style of Madhubani Fish Design Art Work.  

Let's start learning step-by-step. 

ALL YOU NEED IS :   

• Thick Handmade Sheet (off white)
• Rotring Isograph Technical Pen
• Water Proof Black Ink (for the pen)
• Black Acrylic Color (or any color as per your choice)
• Zero Pointed Round Paintbrush
• Regular Compass
• Pencil
• Eraser
• Scale 

HOW TO MAKE : 

1. Leave margins on handmade sheet.
   
2. Draw circles using a regular compass.
   
3. Draw a fish pattern for reference lines using a pencil. 
   
4. Highlight the outlines and fish image using a Rotring Isograph Technical Pen.  Always draw double outlines for Madhubani Art.  A double line is one of the main characteristics of Madhubani Painting.
   
      
5. Draw geometric patterns and designs.
   
6. Fill the designs with fine lines and cross-hatching lines.  Double outlines, simple fine lines, and cross-hatching lines represent the beauty of the Kachni Art.
   
    
7. Do not leave any space empty.
   
8. Fill black acrylic color in geometric design patterns to highlight the design.
   
     
9. On background draw design and fill with fine lines.
   
    
10. Complete the border design as shown in the picture.
