HOMEMADE BANANA CHIPS RECIPE

 

Salty fried banana chips are the perfect snack for using in place of regular chips.  They are best stored in an airtight container and can last for days. These banana chips are very easy to make.

Ingredients:

          Green (Raw) Banana

          Coconut Oil

          Water

          Turmeric

          Salt

Instructions:

          Peel 4 raw bananas and Slice them very thin.

          Soak the banana slices into salt (to taste) and turmeric (1 tsp) water for 5 minutes and 

            then drain completely.

          Heat the coconut oil and add the slices on high heated oil.

          Fry the banana slices until they turn into golden.

          Remove them from the oil and allow them to cool. 

          Store them in an air-tight container.
